Quinnipiac University recognizes the importance of students working while pursuing their studies. To assist students, the University offers opportunities for students to work within the University community or for a non-profit agency. Please note, while we would like to assist as many students as possible, positions are limited.
Graduate Assistantships are available on a limited basis, to both full-time and part-time graduate students. At Quinnipiac, our graduate assistants provide services including, but not limited to, administrative support, instructor assistance, research and professional service in a field of expertise.
- Students working in an administrative support area will receive a paycheck for the hours worked, the average hours awarded is ten hours weekly.
- Students working in areas of instructor assistance, professional service or research will receive a tuition waiver for hours of service performed. Students who work 150 hours in a semester will receive a tuition waiver for three credits.

Interested students will need to submit the Graduate Assistantship application (Adobe PDF). Applicants must complete an application for each position for which you are interested in obtaining (unless the contact person is the same). Applications will then be forwarded to the department's contact person for review. If you are interested in working with a specific department and know of possible openings, you can submit the application directly to the department.
