Applications to the MS in information technology program at Quinnipiac are considered on a rolling basis and are not evaluated until all materials and fees are received by the University.
A complete application consists of the following:
- An application form
- Application fee
- Two recommendations
- Personal statement
- A recent resume
- Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work completed.
To be admitted to the program, an applicant must have completed an undergraduate degree program with a GPA of at least 2.7. Work experience and recommendations also are strongly considered in the admission process.
Please note that admission is competitive and that meeting the minimum admission standards does not guarantee acceptance. Applications are considered on a rolling basis, and students may apply to enter during the fall or spring semesters. Candidates are encouraged to submit applications as early as possible to ensure consideration for the semester desired. Applications are evaluated once all materials and fees are received by Quinnipiac.
Successful applicants to this program will have:
- An undergraduate degree in a field of business, computer science or computer technology, or
- Completed the equivalent of Quinnipiac courses CIS 125 (systems analysis & design) and CIS 351 (database management), or
- Will possess significant work experience in the IT field
