MBA and Organizational Leadership International Experience in London

The Dublin/London trip focused on immersing students in both the cultural and business aspects of the region. Arriving in Dublin first, the students took advantage of a comprehensive tour of the city that included Trinity College, Old Parliament House, and St. Patrick's Cathedral and concluded at the famous Guinness Brewery, where the students were able to observe factory operations as well as sample this famous Irish export.

Business visits in Dublin included Accenture, IDA Ireland, and US Commercial Services. At each of these meetings, the students spoke with knowledgeable executives who offered explanatory comments about their organizations and the uniqueness of doing business in Ireland, and answered numerous questions students had about their various operations. Time was set aside from the business visits to explore local parks, churches, and shops, and to dine on traditional cuisine.

The London portion of the trip included visits to the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, and the Houses of Parliament. Business visits in London included the London Offices of the NBA and Mary Kay Cosmetics. There, we spoke with teams of executives who outlined the recent activities of their companies and fielded student questions. Time in London was also reserved for exploration of the cultural and historical attractions in the city, such as the London Eye, the Harry Potter Studio Tour, Harrods, London Bridge, London theater and 221B Baker Street, the legendary home of Sherlock Holmes.

Executive Experience in Hungary

In addition to visiting executives at various companies, students also had access to an exclusive executive networking alumni event. Those in attendance included 150+ professionals representing 80+ companies including GE, KPMG, Morgan Stanley and Deloitte among others.
