About the School of Nursing

The Quinnipiac University School of Nursing prepares graduates for professional nursing practice who are capable of providing holistic care for diverse individuals, families, communities and populations in a variety of domestic and international settings. The School of Nursing is one of 13 schools in the country that is accredited by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation.

Our expert faculty members are committed to a student-centered approach to teaching. They are both scholars and experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing the insight and guidance students need to excel in the practice of nursing.

Housed on the North Haven Campus, the School of Nursing is equipped with $3.5 million in cutting-edge technology. Beginning in summer 2013, the School of Nursing's facilities will be greatly expanded, with the opening of the new Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.  The center will be 325,000 square feet designed for collaborative learning for students pursuing degrees in medicine, nursing and the health professions. The three schools will be united not only in the same complex but by the same mission: to graduate medical and health care practitioners who will be the driving force for a more collaborative, economical and efficient health care system.
