Students sharing a laugh

With 51 undergraduate majors and 20 graduate offerings, as well as a range of part-time and online opportunities, Quinnipiac University is a lively, challenging and supportive academic community. Students are curious and involved; professors are inspiring and accessible.

At the core of the community is a commitment to teaching. Undergraduate and graduate classes are small. Faculty members frequently involve students in their research—an experience that builds skills, resumes and confidence. Internships are targeted and helpful. And faculty members are always innovating, with technology and with programs like Writing Across the Curriculum and QU 101.

The impact is easy to see. Our journalism alumni are top-notch. Our physical therapy and physician assistant graduates are among the best practitioners in the nation. A local superintendent tells us that he prefers to hire Quinnipiac teachers. And our recent graduates attend graduate schools and launch their careers well prepared for the future.

"I challenge myself so by the second week of the semester, I can greet students on the Quad and know their name."
