Welcome to the Quinnipiac University Net Price Calculator. Beginning October 29, 2011, federal regulations require all colleges and universities to provide a calculation tool to help prospective, full-time, first-time, degree/certificate-seeking undergraduate students calculate an approximate financial aid award for the upcoming year.
The net price calculator is designed with University awarding policies and approximate annual costs at the time that you are using the calculator. It is important to note that tuition, fee, room and board costs are set by the University's Board of Trustees in December, and financial aid awarding policies can and do change annually. All financial aid awards being provided by this tool are to be used for estimation purposes only and are as accurate as the information you provide. The University begins its official awarding process in early February, and all official awards are subject to change based on verified data.
In assessing a family's estimated family contribution, the University subscribes to both the FAFSA and CSS Profile form. Families that have already completed their Profile and know their federal (FM) and institutional (IM) EFCs, can enter these figures into the calculator when prompted. For those who have not yet completed these forms, you will need to have estimated income, tax and asset data available in order to complete the application needed for the tool to provide you with an estimation of your eligibility for grants, scholarships, loans and work-study programs.
Finally, it is important to note that this tool is ONLY designed to provide financial aid estimations for FULL-TIME, FIRST-TIME, DEGREE/CERTIFICATE-SEEKING UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS.
This calculator will NOT provide estimated awards for:
- Returning students
- Graduate, professional or law school students
- Students holding a bachelor's degree
- Students enrolled less than full-time
- Non-matriculated students
- Accelerated nursing students (they do not meet the first-time student definition)
The receipt of additional financial aid, such as athletic awards, employee benefits, tuition exchange, veteran's benefits, outside scholarships, etc. may affect the estimated aid being calculated. Please contact our office should you qualify for aid outside of the resources being provided in the calculator.
We hope that this tool provides you with the information needed to help you make an educated decision on affording a Quinnipiac University education and we encourage you to contact us directly if you have any questions or concerns about your estimated award.
