The Admissions and Financial Aid Offices are located on the first floor of the Echlin Center on the main quad. For visits Monday through Friday or for a Saturday morning Group Information Session, please use the Harwood Gate 'Visitor' entrance (not the main entrance) and park in the Visitor Lot. Both entrances are on Mount Carmel Avenue. Meet at the Admissions Office for all admissions and financial aid appointments and campus tours. If you're stopping by at any other time, please enter at the main entrance, where you will receive a campus map and be able to park and walk around. Please note that the Spring semester ends May 5th (which is our final Saturday Information session until the Fall) and tours are not offered during finals week or senior week, May 7-18. Please use the links below to access our online appointment calendar. We'll confirm your registration or other appointment with an e-mail. If you are not able to keep your appointment, please use the online system to cancel, which frees up that time for another student and family. Thank you!
May Open House for high school juniors and sophomores
Please join us on Monday, May 14, at 9:30 a.m.
Registration/coffee and a chance to talk informally with our deans and departments in a 'college fair' type setting begins at 9:30 a.m. and the program begins at 10 a.m. with a greeting from President John Lahey. You'll have an opportunity to meet with faculty from any of our 50+ majors as well as interact with students and staff from a variety of our student service areas. Dress is casual, and we'll provide a 'grab and go' lunch so you have time to join a campus tour, which leaves from the Student Life Fair. Enjoy the afternoon sessions on the Admissions Process and Financing Higher Education or Writing the College Essay. A shuttle bus will take you to our York Hill Campus to visit the TD Bank Sports Center, the lodge-like Rocky Top Student Center and enjoy the expansive view of the surrounding area and the Crescent, a 1,500-bed residence hall. Families with an interest in our programs in health sciences and nursing should also visit the North Haven Campus in the afternoon for a tour of the facilities used by the graduate and upper division programs. The day concludes by 2:30 p.m. Go to the appointment calendar to register and we'll send you a reminder just before the event!
Group Information Sessions
Our group information sessions give you the opportunity to learn more about Quinnipiac from one of our staff, take a student-led campus tour and meet other visiting families. Sessions are offered on selected weekdays during the year and most Saturday mornings during the fall and spring semesters. Each session, which includes a campus tour, lasts about two hours. The final Saturday Group session is May 5th. Saturday sessions resume in September.
For planning purposes, we'd like to know in advance if you plan to attend. You can easily register for the group information session most convenient for you through our online admissions appointment calendar. You do not need to register for a tour time as the tour is included in the session.
Interviews
We enjoy the opportunity to talk with students interested in Quinnipiac. You can schedule an individual interview (recommended but not required in the admission process) Monday through Friday throughout the year; interviews should be scheduled well in advance. Students and parents will have a chance to talk with a member of the admission staff, so please allow approximately one hour. If you would like to take a tour of the campus on the same day as your interview, we ask that you choose a tour time which immediately follows your interview appointment. Make your reservation now for an interview and/or campus tour through our online admissions appointment calendar. The calendar usually reflects the coming month(s) and additional interview times are added frequently during the year. Please be sure to look for the 'freshman' interview or the 'transfer student' interview time slots.
Campus Tours
Campus tours are held hourly Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters, and at 10, 11, 1 and 2 in early and mid June, then back to hourly tours beginning June 25th. Campus tours are led by a current Quinnipiac student, who will highlight various points of interest throughout campus, including our library, academic buildings, student center and a freshman residence hall. Please check the online calendar to register for a tour time. Due to Finals week and Senior week, May 7-18, no tours are offered (other than at the May 14th Open House). All tours depart from the admissions reception area (Echlin Center) and last about an hour. If you are planning to come to campus for an individual interview and would like a campus tour as well, be sure to make your interview appointment first. View the online appointment calendar and register.
Either before or after your tour of the Mount Carmel Campus, we hope you'll drive the short distance to the York Hill Campus to see the TD Bank Sports Center as well as our new residence halls and spectacular student center.
If you would like to see the classrooms and facilities at the North Haven Campus where graduate students in the physical therapy and physician assistant programs, as well as undergraduates take their professional classes in occupational therapy, diagnostic imaging, nursing and education, check our appointment calendar. Because of student class schedules, tour times are limited, but you can always come by the campus and follow the 'self-guided tour,' which is provided at the lobby entrance, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Check our online appointment calendar.
