At Quinnipiac, we're committed to taking care of those who serve our students and University well. We offer a variety of comprehensive and competitive benefits packages that ensure the personal, financial and medical needs of all of our employees and families, ranging from insurance and retirement packages to use of the University's facilities. Specifics will depend upon your employee classification .

Health & Welfare Benefits

Eligible faculty, administrators, and staff have the option of electing one of several medical insurance coverage plans. All plans include prescription drug coverage, and preventive care is paid at 100 percent. Dental, vision, life insurance, long term disability and flexible spending accounts are also available to eligible employees.

Retirement

We offer eligible employees the option to elect a 403(b) Defined Contribution Retirement Plan, which includes a matching contribution from Quinnipiac University, or a Tax-Deferred Annuity Plan, in which employees make direct contributions.

Paid Time Off

Quinnipiac offers generous vacation and sick time to eligible classes of employees. In addition, we observe numerous holidays and are closed each year between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day, at no charge to individual PTO.

Education Benefits

Eligible faculty members, staff, administrators and their dependents are eligible for tuition remission. In this program, employees or their dependents may take classes at Quinnipiac for degree credit or audit courses for personal enrichment at most of our schools.

Quinnipiac also participates in the Tuition Exchange Program, which allows dependent children of full-time faculty and administrators to attend other area colleges and universities, provided certain criteria are met. For more information, please visit www.tuitionexchange.org.

Dual Career Couples

We understand that your job choice may involve more than one career—that’s why we are a proud member of the Higher Education Recruitment Consortium of Metropolitan New York and Southern Connecticut (MNYSC HERC). Their website has many useful relocation resources pertinent to our region. In addition, MNYSC HERC Job Board has listings of other open positions in our geographic area for both faculty and staff roles. For more information, please visit www.mnyscherc.org.
