"The strong emphasis on teaching sets Quinnipiac apart from many other law schools."

A rich environment

"There is a real diversity of approaches to teaching and scholarship within the faculty here. The result is a rich and stimulating academic environment. I think the strong emphasis on teaching, and particularly on working closely with students, sets Quinnipiac apart from many other law schools."

Complete autonomy

"I have always had complete autonomy in choosing my teaching methods and in selecting teaching materials. I have also had complete freedom in choosing topics for research and writing, and the administration has provided research stipends, as well as funds for student assistance. I have also been able to pursue my particular interest in franchise law and to create a course on the topic."

A great setting

"I enjoy Hamden very much. I like the easy access to New York City via public transportation, the fact that my house is within walking distance of downtown New Haven and the semi-rural atmosphere. I've often seen deer and wild turkeys on my morning walks. Hamden is also only a few hours away from Northern New England by car. I used to live in Vermont, and I enjoy being able to go back for a weekend or longer stay during the summer."
