Financial Leadership Forum "From the Classroom to the Workplace"

Guy Adami, vice chairman tradeMONSTER and a contributor to CNBC's "Fast Money," will be the keynote speaker at the "Financial Leadership Forum 2009: From the Classroom to the Workplace" on Friday, Nov. 6, in Alumni Hall.

Adami will deliver the address, "The Responsibility of the Financial Media in the 21st Century," at the third annual forum sponsored by the School of Business and the Barnum Financial Group. Registration, which includes a continental breakfast, starts at 8:30 a.m.

Following Adami's keynote address, John J. Brett, senior vice president for the MetLife broker-dealer group, will deliver the forum's second major address, "Reshaping the Financial Services Industry."

The public is invited to attend the morning sessions only. After lunch, students will have an opportunity to take part in breakout sessions on investment banking, international accounting standards, uncovering financial fraud, options and careers in accounting and finance.
