White House to announce $100 million for mental health services

According to an unnamed White House official, Vice President Biden will announce $100 million will be freed to increase the access to mental health services and improve mental health facilities.

Thomas said, "Combined with the Affordable Care Act's equal treatment of mental health care and physical health care, this new funding initiative is an important step in President Obama's commitment to making 'access to mental health care as easy as access to a gun.' "
