Corvinus Executive MBA Trip to Quinnipiac - April 2013

The Central European Institute hosted a group of executive MBA students from the Hungarian Corvinus School of Management for one week in Connecticut as part of our ongoing programs with Hungary. During the week they visited Quinnipiac's campuses and the following companies (in alphabetical order): Birinyi Associates Inc., Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology Inc., Foxwoods Resort and Casino, Light Sources Inc., McGladrey, the Pequot Museum, Prospect Machine Products, Serious Fun Children's Network founded by Paul Newman, Ulbrich Stainless Steels & Special Metals, Inc. and Updike, Kelly & Spellacy, PC. The weeklong MBA visit concludes with a business networking event organized jointly with CEENET Inc.

The Central European Institute hosted another group of executive MBA students from the Hungarian Corvinus School of Management for one week April 23-27, 2012, as part of our ongoing programs with Hungary. During the week, they visited Quinnipiac's campuses and attended lectures. Also, the group had an opportunity to visit several companies in Conn. (in alphabetical order): Connecticut Innovations, Foxwoods Resort Casino, Kelly & Spellacy, LightSources Inc., Marcum Advisors, Pequot Museum, Serious Fun Children's Network, Sikorsky, Travelers, Updike, P.C. The weeklong MBA visit concludes with a business networking event organized jointly with CEENET Inc.

A group of MBA students from the Corvinus University School of Management in Budapest, Hungary, visited Quinnipiac May 9-13, 2011. The students attended lectures and competed in a daylong case competition. They also visited major international corporations throughout Connecticut, including Marcum LLP, Travelers Insurance, Terex Corp. and Sikorsky Aircraft Corp.

A group of executive MBA students from the Corvinus University School of Management visited Quinnipiac in April 2009 for a week of lectures, company visits and an international case competition. Visits included Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., LightSources Inc., Terex Corp. and UHY Consulting.
