Honorary Hungarian Consulate for Connecticut

On June 14, 2013, Christopher P. Ball, was recognized by the United States Department of State as Honorary Hungarian Consul to Connecticut. He will be officially inaugurated into this position by Hungarian Ambassador to the United States, Ambassador Gyorgy Szapary, on Sept. 19, 2013, at Quinnipiac University. Details on the inaugural ceremony will be posted soon.
The objectives of the Honorary Consulate of Hungary are to support Hungarians in the United States through a full range of consular services; facilitate political and business collaboration between Hungary and the United States; support the interests and concerns of the local Hungarian community in Connecticut; and introduce Hungarian culture and history to American audiences
