May 26, 2009 - Quinnipiac University Pollsters Available To Discuss California Gay Marriage Decision, Recent National Poll On Same-Sex Marriage

Word format Quinnipiac University Polling Institute representatives are available to discuss nationwide attitudes about same-sex marriage in the wake of today's California Supreme Court ruling.

An April 30 Quinnipiac University poll of more than 2,000 registered voters nationwide, including large samples of Catholics and other groups, showed voters opposed same-sex marriage in their states 55 - 38 percent. Voters do support 57 - 38 percent allowing same-sex couples to form civil unions.
