Canada appointed assistant director for admissions
July 24, 2013 - Zachary Canada has been appointed assistant director for admissions at Quinnipiac University Online, which delivers Quinnipiac's online academic programs.
In his new position, Canada will be responsible for recruiting qualified applicants for admission to Quinnipiac for QU Online. He will also schedule and conduct interviews, pursue qualified candidates for enrollment and determine appropriateness of candidates for admission based upon career-goal compatibility.
"My goals are to build Quinnipiac's online presence and leverage my background to take on challenging and demanding roles within our organization to grow professionally," Canada said.
Canada earned a bachelor's degree in biology from University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
QU Online offers two online bachelor degree completion programs including a bachelor of science in nursing and bachelor of science in health science studies. Additionally, the university offers six online graduate programs including a master of business administration, master of science in organizational leadership, master of science in information technology, master of science in interactive media and master of science in teacher leadership and doctorate in occupational therapy. The university also offers several options for social media training including an advanced graduate certificate in social media as well as customized corporate training in social media.
