Engle named inaugural fellow of international business academy chapter
Sept. 26, 2013 - Robert Engle, a professor of international business in the School of Business, has been named one of the Academy of International Business' Southeast USA Chapter's inaugural fellows.
"The AIB-SE Executive Board recognized Bob's outstanding contributions to the chapter as one of our most active and most highly regarded long-time members, executive board member, conference organizer, scholar, mentor, great colleague and friend of AIB-SE," said Daniel Rottig, chairman of the Academy of International Business Southeast USA Chapter.
In making its decision, the executive board highlighted Engle's exceptional contributions and efforts in continuing the tradition of encouraging students to participate in the academic processes extending beyond the classroom and involving them in chapter conferences.
"It is a real honor to be recognized by my colleagues in the Academy of International Business," Engle said. "I look forward to continuing to work together and learn from them in our efforts to explore and better understand the field of international business."
Engle joined the Quinnipiac faculty in 2002. He holds a doctorate in business administration from Nova Southeastern University, a master's degree in professional studies in business from Quinnipiac, a master's degree in education from Towson State University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Baltimore.
