Fraternity Zeta Beta Tau gets creative for Children's Miracle Network
Oct. 8, 2013 - A Quinnipiac University fraternity is having a ball to raise money to help sick children.
In the attached photo, Allison Nativo, a freshman biology major, and Ray Mounayar, a freshman accounting major, participate in the community outreach initiative.
Businesses throughout the area have pledged contributions for the Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit organization that raises money for children's hospitals, medical research and community awareness of children's health issues.
"It gives the community a chance to do something good by simply signing a ball," said Michael Fishman, of Sharon, Mass., president of Quinnipiac's chapter of Zeta Beta Tau and a film, video and interactive media major. "The best part of it is that it only takes a few seconds to make a huge difference."
The community will have the opportunity to leave their mark through Friday, Oct. 11.
