Hickman named assistant director of fraternity and sorority life
July 22, 2014 - Kyle Hickman has been appointed assistant director of fraternity and sorority life at Quinnipiac.
In his new position, Hickman will be responsible for overseeing and advising the University's Greek community, which includes eight fraternities and nine sororities. Hickman will also be a representative on University committees pertaining to Greek life and other student-related topics.
"I am looking forward to getting to know the students and the Greek organizations," Hickman said. "I am stepping into a new culture and environment and starting to figure out the dynamics of each organization and how to best work with them. I'm excited to make myself as much as a resource as possible to our students."
Hickman, who is originally from White Lake, Michigan, earned his bachelor's degree in sociology from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He holds a master's degree in higher education with an emphasis on college teaching from Texas A&M University-Commerce, where he was a graduate assistant for Leadership Engagement & Development (L.E.A.D). He is a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity.
