In her new position, Taylor will be responsible for developing and implementing a recruitment strategy for the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine, which is scheduled to offer its first classes in the Fall of 2013 on Quinnipiac's North Haven Campus.
"Medical school admissions is very competitive so it's extremely important that we keep our accepted students engaged until they matriculate," said Taylor, who plans to provide the first group of accepted students with periodic updates on the construction of the school, invitations to University events and an opportunity to visit the medical school when the state-of-the-art facility is complete in March.
The medical school's first class will have 60 students. That number will grow to 125 students per class by 2017.
