
Nicholas Kristof, a Pulitzer Prize winning New York Times columnist, will deliver the lecture, "A Call to Action: Encouraging Young People to Join the 'World's Fight' & Take on a Cause Larger than Themselves," at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, on Burt Kahn Court on the Mount Carmel Campus.
Kristof has written op-ed columns for The New York Times since November 2001 and is known for bringing to light human rights abuses in Asia and Africa, including human trafficking and the Darfur conflict. Kristof is the co-author of "Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide," a book about the global oppression of women.
