President Lahey named to '200 top people' list

Dec. 11, 2012 - President John L. Lahey was recently named to the New Haven Register's "200 Top People" list, featuring notable New Haven area residents past and present, including Charles Goodyear, Igor Sikorsky, Thornton Wilder, Karen and Richard Carpenter, among others.

Lahey was cited for his work in growing Quinnipiac from a small commuter college into a major university, as well as for his advocacy of Irish heritage and for raising awareness of the Great Hunger in Ireland.
