QU Online appoints director of financial aid and planning

March 4, 2013 - Omar J. Livingston has been appointed director of financial aid and planning for online programs at Quinnipiac University Online.
In his new position, Livingston will be responsible for setting up a financial aid office to support Quinnipiac’s growing online population. Students interested in the University's online degree programs are eligible to receive either federal or private educational loans to assist them in financing their education.
Founded in 2001, Quinnipiac University Online has been recognized for exceptional online program delivery by organizations such as the Princeton Review, U.S. News and World Report and Quality Matters. The University offers five online graduate programs including: master of business administration, master of science in organizational leadership, master of science in information technology, master of science in interactive media and a master of science in teacher leadership.
Livingston graduated from Albertus Magnus College with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He has worked in the financial aid industry for nine years, and previously served as the associate director of financial aid at Gateway Community College.
