The School of Business was one of 14 business schools in the U.S. to be named to the first-ever 2012 U.S. News and World Report "Honor Roll" of top online education programs.

Online bachelor's degree programs as well as graduate online degree programs in business, engineering, nursing, education, and computer information technology were ranked. These rankings were created in response to today's high demand for education provided in a flexible format and the increasing popularity of online learning.

Online master's degree programs in business were ranked in the following categories: student services and technology; faculty credentials and training; teaching practices and student engagement; and admissions selectivity. Quinnipiac's School of Business was ranked fourth in the student services and technology category and sixth in the teaching practices and student engagement category.  Its "Honor Roll" designation was awarded because of its overall ranking among the top third of all online business programs in three out of four of the rankings categories.

"Quinnipiac's School of Business is very pleased to have earned a place on U.S. News and World Report's first Honor Roll of distinguished providers of the highest quality online education," said Matthew O'Connor, dean of the School of Business. "This is yet additional recognition of our success in enabling students to pursue graduate business education in a format that is flexible yet rigorous."

The School of Business offers several graduate programs, including a master of business administration, a master of science in information technology and a master of science in organizational leadership. The MBA can be completed online, in a traditional, on-campus format or via a hybrid combination of online and on-campus; the MS in information technology and MS in organizational leadership are offered in an online format only.
