Undergraduate Fall Open House Sept. 20

Student and parents

Aug. 20, 2014 - High school students and their parents are invited to spend a few hours on campus and learn more about Quinnipiac during the Fall Open House Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014.

Plan to arrive on the Mount Carmel Campus between 9 and 10 a.m. to get the most from your day, starting with an overview of Quinnipiac followed by a campus tour.

You'll have a chance to meet and talk with members of the faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences and the schools of business and engineering, communications, education, nursing and health sciences. You can also meet staff from our various student and academic services areas, including the library, the Learning Center, the Office of International Education, Campus Technology, Student Government, the Department of Residential Life, the Office of Multicultural and Global Affairs, Athletics and Recreation and Student Affairs.

You'll attend a 30-minute presentation about the University presented by a member of the admissions staff, followed by a campus tour. Starting at noon, there are several workshops, demonstrations and information sessions on a variety of majors and topics.

Those interested in our physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant, nursing and diagnostic imaging programs will want to visit the North Haven Campus for faculty presentations on those programs and to see the state-of-the-art facilities. We'll provide a convenient 'grab and go' lunch. You'll receive the full schedule and directions when you register in the morning.

We encourage families to visit the York Hill Campus, home of the TD Bank Sports Center, the Rocky Top Student Center and several upperclassmen residence halls. Shuttle buses will be provided; families may also stop by the campus on their own. The program ends by 3 p.m.
