University to host Orientation Aug. 21-22
June 24, 2013 - This summer the Class of 2017 will converge at the Mount Carmel Campus to attend one of five Freshman Orientation sessions.
Incoming students will have the opportunity to participate in social activities, explore the campuses, meet with academic deans and faculty advisers to discuss possible first semester courses, and learn about campus resources from staff and upperclass students. Students will also spend the night in an on-campus residence hall to further ease their transition to University life.
Incoming students will be split up into Orientation groups of about 12 students each, led by two upperclassman leaders. Orientation encourages students to develop new friendships through a variety of activities. Parents and family members will also have the opportunity to learn more about Quinnipiac on the first day of each June session from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The schedule includes a welcome from University administrators, information sessions on residential and campus life, tours, and a barbecue lunch.
Orientation sessions for Fall 2013 will be held June 10-11, 13-14, 17-18, 20-21 and Aug. 21-22.
