For the fifth consecutive year, U.S. News asked education experts to identify institutions that are making the most promising and innovative changes in the areas of academics, faculty and student life.
"For Quinnipiac, I believe it's the excitement about our 'three settings, one University' approach, including our development of the Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences on the North Haven Campus and the addition of the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine scheduled to open in the Fall of 2013," said Joan Isaac Mohr, vice president and dean of admissions.
"It's also based on the work our faculty is doing to focus on teaching and student learning outcomes and student engagement. We've been number one or two in this category for a few years and we're happy to see that continue."
Quinnipiac also was ranked the top up-and-coming school with master's programs in the North in 2009.
