Nov. 1, 2012 - Two articles by Jeffrey Cooper, a professor in the School of Law who specializes in trusts and estates and tax law, were recently cited by the Washington Supreme Court.

The court relied on Cooper's articles, published in the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal and the Pepperdine Law Review, as providing a definitive history of the interplay between federal and state estate taxes.

At issue in the case was the Washington Department of Revenue's attempt to collect state estate tax from two trusts.
