| LAKE MARGIN, PHOENIX PARK, DUBLIN.- The picture here given shows a marshy margin, out of which the giant bullrushes rise like a company of grenadiers, with their tall caps, on a section of the Phoenix Park lakes, thus giving the region a genuine rural aspect. Above the trees to the left, can be seen the apex of the monument to the victor of Waterloo, which is visible from most points in the park. |
