| THE BALDWIN MONUMENT, TRINITY COLLEGE, DUBLIN. -The chaste and beautiful monument here presented was erected in the last century to the memory of Dr. Richard Baldwin, Provost of the University, who died A. D. 1758. Particular pride is taken in the memorial by the faculty and students of Trinity College, in whose examination hall it stands, because it is from the design of Professor Hewetson, a distinguished Dublin artist. |
