Arnold Bernhard Library

The Arnold Bernhard Library

When it's time to study or do research for a class project, students head to the Arnold Bernhard Library on the Mount Carmel Campus.

The library offers 600 seats-- many with spectacular views of Sleeping Giant Mountain--13 group rooms, a 30-seat classroom, more than 60 public computer terminals and wireless Internet access for laptop computers.

It's also home to the Technology Center, where students go for tech support for their laptops and mobile devices and other technology needs.

The library is named for Arnold Bernhard, the founder and former chief executive officer of Value Line, Inc., the world's largest investment advisory service. Bernhard's son, A. Van H. Bernhard of Southport, made the library renovation project possible by donating $1 million for the library project and an additional $3 million for the University's endowment in 1997.
