Fitness + Recreation CentersLooking to get in shape, de-stress after class or play a friendly game of volleyball with friends? The University's two fitness and recreation centers offer students a variety of equipment, classes and recreational opportunities.
The Mount Carmel Campus Fitness and Recreation Center serves an important role in meeting the social, health and wellness needs of the Quinnipiac community. It also serves as the focal point for many University activities.
The center offers top-notch facilities and equipment for recreation and fitness on campus, including an indoor track, weight room, four multipurpose courts, cardiovascular equipment, areas for stretching and more. A range of aerobics classes are held in the center's studios and many intramural sports teams compete on the courts here.
Our Rocky Top Student Center also features a fitness center for students living in the residence halls on the York Hill Campus. The center offers cardiovascular equipment, weights, a spinning room and a dance studio. Learn more about the Rocky Top Student Center.
A third fitness center is planned for the University's North Haven Campus, home to many of the University's graduate programs including the School of Medicine. The Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, located on the North Haven Campus, features a yoga and meditation room, which offers a tranquil escape for reflection as well as classes led by certified yoga instructors.
