At Quinnipiac, about 4,000 students live in University-owned housing in traditional residence halls, suites, houses and apartments. Our residential life program provides a safe, comfortable environment that allows every student to make the most of the college experience. From the moment you move in to your room, you are part of a community that cares for you as an individual--a community that will help you become a self-assured and aware adult, ready for an independent and full life.

The Mount Carmel Campus is home to the First Year Residential Experience (FYRE) for first year students, the Sophomore Programming Initiative (SPIN) for sophomore students, and the transfer student population. Students living here will have an opportunity to live in suite-style, traditional or apartments.

The York Hill Campus includes extensive new apartment-style residence halls, a parking garage, the TD Bank Sports Center and the Rocky Top Student Center. Junior students live on the York Hill Campus in The Crescent residence hall and Westview. Senior students have the option of living in Eastview, The Townhouses at York Hill, the apartments at Whitney Village, and the University-owned off-campus houses in the local area.

  • Laundry rooms, which feature the LaundryViewTM online monitoring system
LaundryView connects laundry machines to the Internet, allowing students to check the availability of washers and dryers. Students can view a 3-D rendering of the laundry room to see the status of each laundry machine from their computer. They can request notifications for when in-use machines become available and when their laundry is done. The system also provides text message alerts that notify students when their laundry is done. Students may also sign up for a convenient dry cleaning service.
