At Quinnipiac, about 4,000 students live in University-owned housing in traditional residence halls, suites, houses and apartments. Our residential life program provides a safe, comfortable environment that allows every student to make the most of the college experience.

The Complex

The 80s are referred to as Sahlin Hall, the 90s are referred to Founder's Hall and the 100s are known as Bakke Hall. Each apartment offers three bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room and kitchen, and features lots of built-in storage. Sahlin Hall offers a classroom used for QU 101 and other courses. The Complex features a courtyard used for large scale programming and provides a place for students to play ball, throw a Frisbee, study or soak in the sunshine.

The Crescent and Westview at York Hill

The Crescent and Westview features three types of apartments. The majority of the apartments have three bedrooms, a common room, a full kitchen and two full bathrooms. There are a few two-bedroom apartments scattered through the residence hall. These apartments feature a common room, a full kitchen and two full bathrooms.
The Westview section of The Crescent offers four-bedroom apartments for senior students in 2012 - 2013. The Westview is the only section that features three single bedrooms and a double bedroom.
All are handicapped accessible and there are elevators throughout the residence hall. Resident assistants live throughout the building and are responsible for programming and maintaining a safe environment for the residents.

Off-Campus Properties for Seniors 2012-2013
Each house has a living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. These houses are home to four students. There are Community Assistants who live in the neighborhoods and provide similar services as RAs on the Mount Carmel and York Hill campuses. To see each of the available houses, stop by the Department of Residential Life.

Transportation
Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from campus. It is recommended that students bring their own vehicle to drive to and from campus. There is a Quinnipiac University shuttle that makes stops at two locations near the Mount Carmel Campus on New Road. The shuttle stops at Lucien Drive and at the corner of New Road and Ives Street.
