Open Houses
Spend a few hours on campus and get an in-depth view of our academic strengths, student life and attractive campus. Quinnipiac holds open house events several times a year:
- Our Spring Open House program for high school juniors, sophomores and parents, will be held Monday, May 11, 2009. Registration/coffee begins at 9:30 a.m. and the program begins at 10 a.m. with a greeting from President John Lahey. An academic panel of Deans introduces you to the wide range of programs at Quinnipiac, and you get to choose which session(s) you want to attend to learn more about our schools and colleges. Dress is casual, and we'll provide a picnic lunch outside. At the Student Life Fair and Dessert, you'll have a chance to interact with students and staff from a variety of our student service areas. Enjoy the afternoon sessions on the Admissions Process, Financing Higher Education, Writing the College Essay and a general session about our exciting Division I athletics, intramurals and campus recreation. Take a campus tour led by one of our student ambassadors and see the academic facilities and residential areas. The day concludes by 2:30 p.m.

Can't join us in May?? Save a date for our Fall 2009 Open Houses: Saturdays: September 26, October 24 and November 14. You can start registering for those in June.
Please use the links above and below to access our online appointment calendar. We'll confirm your open house registration or other appointment with an e-mail. If you find you are not able to keep your appointment, please use the online system to cancel, which frees up that time for another student and family. Thank you!
Group Information Sessions
Our group information sessions give you the opportunity to meet other visiting families and learn about Quinnipiac in a group setting. Sessions are offered on most Saturday mornings during the fall and spring semesters, plus selected weekdays throughout the year. Each session, which includes a campus tour, lasts about two hours.
For planning purposes, we'd like to know in advance if you plan to attend. You can easily register for the group information session most convenient for you through our online admissions appointment calendar. You do not need to additionally register for a tour time as the tour is included in the session.
Interviews
Individual interviews (recommended but not required in the admission process) are held Mondays through Fridays throughout the year and should be scheduled well in advance. Interviews are conducted by admissions representatives and last approximately one hour.
If you would like to take a tour of the campus on the same day as your interview, we ask that you choose a tour time which immediately follows your interview appointment. Make your reservation now for an interview and/or campus tour through our online admissions appointment calendar.
Campus Tours
Campus tours are held Mondays through Fridays throughout the year and are led by a current Quinnipiac student who will highlight various points of interest throughout campus including our library, academic buildings, student center and a freshman residence hall. All tours depart from the admissions reception area (main library building) and last about an hour.
Reserve your preferred date and time through our online appointment calendar. If you are planning to come to campus for an individual interview and would like a campus tour as well, be sure to make your interview appointment first, then schedule your tour time to immediately follow your interview.
Please note: A separate appointment for a campus tour is not necessary when registering for a group information session or open house event.
Winter/Spring dates:
- January 5 - 9 and 12-16 - interviews and tours available
- January 19 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day - University holiday
- January 20 - spring semester begins, no appointment or tours January 20-23
Beginning Jan. 26 : interviews, group information sessions and tours will be available with our regular schedule. Please check the calendar for specifics.
