Open Houses
Spend several hours on campus and get an in-depth view of our academic strengths, student life and attractive campus. Quinnipiac holds open house events several times a year:
Fall Open House Dates: Saturdays, Sept. 26, Oct. 24 and Nov. 14
Spend a few hours with us and learn more about Quinnipiac! Plan to arrive on the Mount Carmel Campus between 9 and 10:15 a.m. to get the most from your day, starting with an overview of Quinnipiac followed by a campus tour. You'll have time to talk with faculty from the schools of Business, Communications, Education, Health Sciences and the College of Arts and Sciences, plus representatives from admissions, financial aid, student government, study abroad, the Learning Center, technology, the library, residential life, athletics, student affairs and a variety of student clubs and organizations. Refreshments are provided.
A session at 11 a.m. will provide potential transfer students with relevant information.
We encourage all families to stop by the York Hill Campus, home of the TD Bank Sports Center - great views! We'll provide buses or it's an easy stop on your way home.
Afternoon sessions highlight particular programs such as careers in public service and law, athletic training, prehealth professions, careers in education, arts and sciences, communications, business and more.
For families interested in information on the physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant, diagnostic imaging and nursing programs, lunch plus the afternoon sessions for each program will be held at the North Haven Campus. You'll receive the full schedule and directions when you register in the morning.
The program ends by 3 p.m. Register now and we'll send a reminder prior to the event!

If you find you are not able to keep your appointment, please use the online system to cancel, which frees up that time for another student and family. Thank you!
Group Information Sessions
Our group information sessions give you the opportunity to meet other visiting families and learn about Quinnipiac in a group setting. Sessions are offered on most Saturday mornings during the fall (starting Sept. 19) and spring semesters, plus selected weekdays throughout the year. Each session, which includes a campus tour, lasts about two hours.
For planning purposes, we'd like to know in advance if you plan to attend. You can easily register for the group information session most convenient for you through our online admissions appointment calendar. You do not need to register for a tour time as the tour is included in the session.
Interviews
Individual interviews (recommended but not required in the admission process) are held Monday through Friday throughout the year (including the summer months) and should be scheduled well in advance. Interviews are conducted by admissions representatives and last approximately one hour.
If you would like to take a tour of the campus on the same day as your interview, we ask that you choose a tour time which immediately follows your interview appointment. Make your reservation now for an interview and/or campus tour through our online admissions appointment calendar.
Campus Tours
Campus tours are held Monday through Friday throughout the year and are led by a current Quinnipiac student who will highlight various points of interest throughout campus, including our library, academic buildings, student center and a freshman residence hall. Tours are offered every hour on the hour between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. All tours depart from the admissions reception area (main library building) and last about an hour.
Either before or after your tour of the Mount Carmel Campus, we hope you'll drive the short distance to the York Hill Campus to see the TD Bank Sports Center as well as new construction of residence halls and a student center. You can also sign up for a tour of the North Haven Campus (where classes are held for juniors, seniors and graduate students in physical therapy, occupational therapy, diagnostic imaging, physician assistant, and nursing). It's offered Monday through Friday at 11:45 a.m.
Reserve your preferred date and time through our online appointment calendar. If you are planning to come to campus for an individual interview and would like a campus tour as well, be sure to make your interview appointment first, then schedule your tour time to immediately follow your interview.
Please note: A separate appointment for a campus tour is not necessary when registering for a group information session or open house event.
Fall information:
- Fall semester begins (Aug. 31); first week of classes. Tours and interviews are available
- Monday, Sept. 7, campus holiday, Labor Day. No tours or interviews Sept. 8-11.
- Fall weekday tours, weekday interviews and Saturday information sessions begin again starting Sept. 14
- Monday, Sept. 28, Yom Kippur, University holiday. See group information sessions
- Nov. 20-27 Thanksgiving holiday, no tours
- Dec. 11 , last day of Fall tours; tours resume in January
