Applying for Graduate Financial Aid

Eligibility:
In order to be eligible for federal student financial aid as a Graduate student at Quinnipiac University, you must:

  • Be matriculated into a degree granting program at least half-time (5 credits or more);
  • Making satisfactory academic progress in accordance with the regulations of Quinnipiac University Graduate School;
  • In compliance with various regulatory requirements of federal and state programs;
  • In compliance with university polices and procedures.

How to Apply:
To be considered for financial aid at Quinnipiac University, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Quinnipiac University Graduate Financial Aid Application.

The FAFSA form:

  • Deadline: Should be completed after January 1 with a recommended deadline of March 31 for Summer, June 1 for Fall and November 15 for Spring
  • Apply on-line at http://www.fafsa.gov
  • Federal School Code for Quinnipiac University: 001402
  • Be sure to indicate your housing and enrollment plans, omission of information will cause a delay in processing
  • First time applicants will need to create a Personal Identification Number (PIN) when completing their FAFSA to be used as their electronic signature. Data will be verified before the PIN can be used again
