Helping Manage the Cost of Graduate Education

Graduate Assistantships are available on a limited basis to both full and part-time graduate students. Graduate assistants provide services to Quinnipiac such as administrative support, instructor assistance, professional service in a field of expertise, and research and in return receive a tuition waiver. Inquiries regarding available assistantships can be directed to the Director of Graduate Admissions.

Download the Graduate Assistant Request Form.

The Deferred Payment Plan allows you to register for courses upon payment of one-third tuition plus fees at the time of registration. A nominal installment fee is charged based on the number of credits taken. (The plan is not available to students during the summer term.)

The No-Risk Enrollment Policy allows all first-time graduate students to register for their first class and, if for any reason, wish to withdraw within three full weeks of the start of classes, the tuition, excluding the registration fee, student fees, and any laboratory or material fees, will be refunded. This policy is applicable to one course only. A "No Risk Enrollment" form must be submitted at the time of registration.

Employee Education Benefits are provided by many companies in the form of tuition reimbursement. Additionally, Quinnipiac University has arrangements with a number of companies to accept a letter of authorization from the employer in lieu of full or partial payment at registration. Check with your employer about any education benefits that may be available to you.

Outside Scholarships and Grants can be awarded to students by organizations other than the University. Corporations, foundations, state, national and professional associations, civic organizations, and clubs have their own application and selection criteria for awarding private funds. Quinnipiac University encourages you to research and apply for outside scholarships that are applicable. To assist you, we recommend the free scholarship web resources such as www.fastweb.com or www.wiredscholar.com. You, however, are responsible for all application, renewal, and disbursement paperwork.
