The Freshman Writing program takes full advantage of Quinnipiac University’s virtually universal wireless access and commitment to laptop technology.

The program’s curriculum and instruction requires students to use a notebook computer to:

• Meet professional standards for formatting documents
• Conduct electronically-supported library research
• Interact and share documents with professors and classmates

Freshman receive software and e-mail training during the summer orientation program and can receive support throughout the semester from the STAR program and university Help Desk
