The Quinnipiac University Financial Aid Office works with all applicants to assure that they receive the maximum state and federal aid for which they are eligible. In addition, the Office seeks to coordinate institutional aid resources to make a Quinnipiac education affordable. Approximately 70 percent of the student body receives financial aid. Matriculated part-time students may be eligible for grants (which need not be repaid) or student loans, if taking at least 6 credit hours per semester. Students taking fewer than 6 credits may be eligible for federal Pell Grants.
Quinnipiac University offers several half-tuition scholarships to graduates of area community/technical colleges who are determined by state or federal guidelines to be underrepresented in higher education. Eligible students hold associate degrees. These scholarships are available only to part-time students.
Students interested in being considered for financial aid should indicate that on section 3 on the admissions application. They should also submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available on line at www.fafsa.ed.gov, to the federal processor no later than 8 weeks prior to the beginning of a semester. If you have questions regarding financial aid, please call the financial aid office at 203-582-8750.
Quinnipiac's FAFSA ID number is 001402.
