| Nancy Worthington is a professor of communications and chair of the Department of Media Studies. Her research and teaching interests focus on media's relationship to identity in U.S. and cross-cultural settings. Her current research examines news representations of gender violence in the U.S. and South Africa. Prof. Worthington's publications include articles in Journalism: Theory, Practice & Criticism, Journal of Communication Inquiry, Popular Communication, and Women's Studies in Communication. She routinely presents papers to national and international conferences. |
