The ALANA* & I* mentoring program is designed to:

• Ease the transition from high school to the collegiate environment for new students of color and international students
• Create an intentional connection for a new student of color and international student with a faculty, staff member or student at the start of the student's academic career
• Ensure retention to the sophomore year, and persistence to graduation
• Expand new student support and resource systems

*ALANA stands for Asian, Latino, African, Native American.
* "I" stands for International Students
