Steve Savino joined the WQUN staff as afternoon anchor and reporter in September 2004. He won the AP award for best newscast in 2004. Previously, he was executive producer with Radio America Network, and his first on-air at job was at WBIS-AM in Bristol, Conn., his hometown. He has been on-air and executive producer at WTIC-AM Hartford, and WICC, and has also worked at WWYZ, WATR, the Montana Radio Network, WHYN, WNNZ-AM Springfield and WSAR-AM in Fall River, Mass.
