Students befriend seniors at Maple Woods at Hamden assisted living to bridge generations

Students befriend seniors at Maple Woods at Hamden assisted living to bridge generations. Students stop by to socialize over ice cream, make crafts and offer manicures. Students visited for a game of bingo in March 2006. Cynthia Frantisak, program director at Maple Woods, says, "Playing bingo put excitement into the night for seniors. They can't stop talking about it. They hope the students come back." The students returned in April to dance and mingle at the senior citizens prom.
