Duncan Fletcher, director and program manager of the Professional Athletes Transition Institute, and Dale Jasinski, the institute's executive director, were quoted in an Aug. 8 New York Times article about the prevalence of divorce among National Football League players. According to the article, many divorces occur after players retire and face an identity crisis that in turn stresses their marriages. The July 1 national poll found that U.S. voters back public insurance 2-1, but won't use it. The results also showed that 72 percent of voters won't pay more than $500 a year to fix health care.
