Why Quinnipiac?

Because Quinnipiac is where professors who want to know students by name come to teach, and where students who want a personal, challenging education come to learn. At Quinnipiac, students are our first, second and third priorities. What does that look like?

Quinnipiac is a small university offering big opportunities.
You’ll find top-rated academic programs, classes averaging 25 students and a faculty-to-student ratio of 16 to 1—plus Division I athletics. Those are just some of the reasons why Quinnipiac is consistently ranked among the best universities offering undergraduate and master's degree programs by U.S. News & World Report and The Princeton Review.

In our hands, technology offers amazing hands-on experiences. Students simulate buying and selling stocks in the Terry W. Goodwin '67 Financial Technology Center, produce news packages in the fully digital high-definition broadcast studio and study how the human body moves in the motion analysis laboratory. Plus a broad range of speakers visits campus each year.

Quinnipiac is all about students.
Collaborative, innovative teaching is so important to us that we give annual awards to professors who do it best. Our faculty members are experts in their field, generous with their time and eager to share their knowledge. But that’s not all. We also give annual awards to staff members who offer great service. Students will experience that in the career services office, the Learning Center and elsewhere.

Quinnipiac is the best of a small town.
Quinnipiac offers the best of small-town spirit. You’ll feel it the moment a huge team of upperclassmen help you unload your car and move into your freshman residence. You’ll feel it at meals—faculty and students eat in the same dining hall. And you’ll feel it in our small classes.

Quinnipiac is forever.
Because of the unique, mind-shaping, life-expanding experiences they had here, Quinnipac friends stay in contact by joining a prestigious group of 30,000 members—Quinnipiac’s Alumni Association. A continuous schedule of events ensures alumni stay in touch with favorite professors, classmates, teammates, fraternity brothers and sorority sisters nationwide.
