What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an easy way for you to keep up with your favorite news and information. Most major Web sites offer lists of updates – called RSS feeds – that let you know when new content has been posted.

How Do I Use RSS feeds?
To create your own collection of feeds, you'll need an application that can read and display RSS feeds. Many browsers (e.g., Internet Explorer 7, Firefox), portals (e.g., free tools such as My Yahoo http://my.yahoo.com/) and e-mail clients like Microsoft Outlook can do this. There are also "news reader" programs that have an e-mail-like interface and are easy to use.

RSS reader programs vary, so follow your program's directions for signing up.
