Gov. Jodi Rell held a press conference at Quinnipiac Aug. 17 to discuss the CHESLA college loan program.
Gov. Jodi Rell held a press conference at the University Aug. 17 to discuss the Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority (CHESLA).

Rell said the state has a new pool of $27 million to loan through CHESLA at new, lower interest rates.

Michael McKeeman, senior vice president of the Higher Education Group for Wachovia Bank and chairperson of the Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority, also spoke at the press conference.
