Quinnipiac hosts 'Walk To Cure Diabetes' at North Haven Campus

Quinnipiac students taking part in JDRF walk

Quinnipiac hosted the "Walk To Cure Diabetes" fundraising event on Oct. 4, 2009, at its North Haven Campus. The event raises money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

In 2008, nearly $70 million was raised for diabetes research through the Walk To Cure Diabetes events.

This is one of many examples of Quinnipiac's community outreach. The University is constantly engaged in projects to benefit local residents and organizations. Faculty, staff and students raise money for charity, spend time with seniors, visit schools to read to children, coach youth sports teams, invite children to campus for social and education events and provide free legal service through our law clinics.
