Insurance Leadership Professional Focus

If you are looking for a master’s degree program and are a CPCU student or designee, Quinnipiac has a program for you!

Take advantage of your CPCU designation by applying it to a master’s degree in organizational leadership with a professional focus in insurance from Quinnipiac University. In partnership with AICPCU/IIA, the College of Professional Studies will award up to three credits toward a master of science in organizational leadership with a professional focus in insurance.

You can also apply your CPCU designation toward a master of business administration through Quinnipiac's School of Business. The AACSB-accredited School of Business will award up to nine credits toward a master of business administration.

The MBA program, which is offered in both on-campus and online formats, fosters graduate-level growth and skill development in critical business courses that provide a solid foundation in negotiation, cooperation and interpersonal relations. You may also choose to pursue the MBA/Charter Financial Analyst© or MBA in health care management program. Learn more about the MBA program

This partnership will allow you to obtain your master’s degree at an accelerated pace by applying your CPCU course credits towards your degree. This is a great opportunity for those who want to further their education and leverage their prior coursework through AICPCU/IIA.

Partnership Benefits:

  • You can earn your degree completely online.
  • If you prefer, you can earn your degree in a blended format with some on-campus class time.
  • You will earn up to three credits toward the master's degree in organizational leadership if you hold the CPCU designation.
  • With your three credits from CPCU, you will only need to take an additional 10 courses to complete your master’s degree.
  • No graduate entrance examinations are required for the degree in organizational leadership.
