Our students are passionate about the University Honors Program.
Angela Julian '11 says, "The Quinnipiac Honors program was the reason I chose to come to Quinnipiac out of my top three favorite colleges. The Honors program provides a community for students that is not only academically focused, but also fun. The Honors program allows me to discuss and develop my thoughts and ideas with professors, students and faculty. Through these interactions both inside and outside the classroom, I have made lasting relationships and best friends at Quinnipiac that make Quinnipiac feel like home."
Jessica Suttcliffe '10 says, “The Honors Program has actually been a very big part of my experience at QU. It helped me find a bunch of people who were like-minded when it came to academic values, as well as other activities not related to academics, which surprised me. My closest friends here are all people I met though the Honors Program. My best experience is a tie between all the people I have met through the program and the courses I have taken. The professors involved with teaching honors courses are some of the best and some of my favorites out of all the professors I've had experiences with in my time here at QU.”
Stuart Easton '10, says, "The honors program is great because it allows you to meet a variety of new freshmen who share your academic goals. Much like people who are interested in sports join a sports team, the honors program allows you to meet other people interested in academics."
Lee Hodge '10, says, "The honors program gives me the opportunity to not only learn in a stimulating environment but also to bond with people who have similar interests. It challenges you to make connections both academically and socially. It's the perfect combination."
